The areas that Synopex plans to localize with ePTFE-based technology include hydrogen vehicle fuel cell separators, which are dominated by foreign companies, as well as advanced semiconductor processing. Local production of PTFE, waterproof material for mobile phones essential in the future 5G era, automotive cables, including filters for hemodialysis machines that are 100% imported, ECMO is an independent "imported material" and "locally produced" used throughout the industry, including filters for medical devices.
